This construction for GLP once again emphasizes excellence in sustainability, aiming to achieve Breeam Excellent, Breeam Urbanismo, and Carbon Net Zero certifications.

In an ambitious commitment to innovation and sustainability, GSE Iberia will be responsible for the construction of the first warehouse in the OAXIS GLP Park Madrid Villaverde logistics park. This project is strategically located within the M-40 ring, near the main communication hubs in the south of Madrid. The project not only addresses the growing demand for logistics and distribution spaces in the region but also sets a new standard in logistics development, guided by ESG principles and a commitment to Carbon Net Zero. The project is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2025.

The first building of OAXIS GLP Park Madrid Villaverde exemplifies the construction excellence that GSE brings to the sector, with a surface area of 26,368 m² divisible into three modules of 7,661 m², 5,868 m², and 8,827 m², respectively, designed to maximize functionality and efficiency.

Designed with cutting-edge materials such as sandwich panels for the facades, Deck-type roofs, and exterior enclosures in micro-profiled galvanized steel sheets, this project not only promises durability but also superior environmental performance, aiming to obtain Breeam Excellent, Breeam Urbanismo, and Carbon Net Zero certifications. Additionally, the inclusion of photovoltaic panels for solar energy generation underscores the focus on sustainable and autonomous energy solutions.

In the words of Ramon Lázaro, Commercial Director of GSE Iberia: “Taking the reins of this innovative project for GLP represents an important milestone for GSE, especially given the ambitious goal of achieving excellence in sustainability. This construction not only reflects our commitment to environmental responsibility and our client GLP, but also highlights our dedication to implementing practices that ensure a positive and lasting impact on our environment.”

The location of this logistics park in Villaverde, just 9 km from the center of Madrid and with direct access to important routes such as the M-40, M-30, M-50, A-4, and A-42, in addition to proximity to various public transport lines, reflects GLP’s strategic vision in choosing locations that maximize logistics and accessibility. This is the first logistics park in Spain adapted to electric vehicle distribution.

In summary, GSE’s work in developing the first building of the OAXIS GLP Park Madrid Villaverde logistics park is the result of the trust between GLP and GSE, established in previous projects, strengthening it and betting on constructions that not only meet the highest expectations of their clients but also contribute significantly to the community and the environment.
