The new center spans 12,430 square meters and has achieved the BREEAM VERY GOOD certification.

GSE Iberia has delivered a new 12,430 m² logistics warehouse to Mountpark, located in the Plataforma Central Iberum in Illescas (Toledo), a distribution park 35 kilometers from Madrid that has become one of Spain’s key logistics hubs.

With a €12 million investment, the new Mountpark Illescas 3 warehouse, already in use by TXT since the project’s completion, joins two other centers in this area: the first, a 44,747 m² facility dedicated to e-commerce distribution, and the second, an 85,624 m² warehouse fully occupied by Carreras Grupo Logístico.

“After a year of significant growth in logistics projects, we are very pleased to begin the construction of an exciting new project in Illescas, specifically at Plataforma Central Iberum, one of the top logistics hubs in central Spain,” commented Ramón Lázaros, Commercial Director of GSE Spain.

The large-scale platform has achieved the BREEAM VERY GOOD certification and features photovoltaic panels installed across the entire roof. Additionally, all necessary protocols were followed during construction to minimize CO2 emissions.

With over 3.5 million square meters, Plataforma Central Iberum is Spain’s first eco-industrial park and one of the few in Europe to benefit from the ‘LIFE+’ program, co-financed by the European Commission. It is home to other major companies such as Amazon, H&M, Michelin, Toyota, Airbus, Seur, FM Logistic, Ehlis, Zalando, DIA, and Hexcel.
