GSE Spain builds logistics centre for Inversiones Montepino

GSE Spain has begun to build a new logistics centre up for the company Montepino Logística. Specifically, this project is located in one of the logistics epicentres of the Iberian Peninsula with the highest demand, the Ciudad del Transporte industrial estate in Marchamalo (Guadalajara).
With a built-up area of 37,000 m2, GSE Spain will raise a logistics warehouse distributed in two sectors with an annexed service building. The warehouse will have two completely open-plan spaces that will be used entirely for logistics purposes. One of them will be for the storage of material classified as “high risk”. The resulting construction will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology and excellence in energy and environmental efficiency to meet the high standards shared by GSE Spain and Montepino Logística. Photovoltaic panels will also be installed to produce electrical energy, as well as highly energy-efficient systems.
With this new construction work, GSE Spain establishes a collaborative relationship with the developer and logistics manager Montepino Logística. Both companies, leaders in the development of turnkey logistics projects, join forces for the first time to make this ambitious project a reality.
The excellence of the project carried out by GSE Spain in terms of sustainability will be endorsed by LEED certification.
